Sleep is for the Weak

Jaxon has taught us that there is no need for consistant sleep. I haven't stayed awake for so long since my high school party days...maybe my freshmen or sophomore year of college...ok so everytime we have Halo night. But never for this long. Usually it's staying up overnight, not staying up for 3+ nights while getting 2-3 hours of sleep every day. Of course, whatever doesn't kill us will just make us stronger, right? We'll see!

I love these photos! It is making me cry. I hate being so far away. I would be happy to take Jaxon for the night feedings, so mom and dad could sleep for once in the 18 years of life he has ahead of him. hehe
You need to take a picture of yourself and post it on here! I sympathize. I am only now moving out of the "survival sleep" stages that come with being a parent and my baby is almost 9 months old. I'm still waiting for the once-taken-for-granted REM sleep to grace my night and I've been waiting since I was 8 months pregnant with my first baby (3 years). AND Whatever doesn't kill you actually weakens you and give it some time and it just may kill you.
